Care guide
Bearded dragon care
A diurnal lizard that needs real UVB and a hot basking spot.
Light
A basking surface around 38–40°C under a bright white lamp, plus a linear UVB tube replaced on the manufacturer's schedule. The cool side stays near 24–26°C.
Diet
Young dragons eat mostly insects. Adults shift toward leafy greens. Dust insects with calcium.
Space
Give room to run and a solid hide. They are not a beginner's impulse pet, but the care is straightforward once the lighting is right.
