Ball python care
A shy constrictor that needs tight hides and a steady warm side.
Heat
Warm side 30–32°C, cool side about 24–26°C, measured with a thermometer not the mat's dial. Always use a thermostat.
Humidity
Aim for 50–60%, higher during a shed. A humid hide helps a complete shed.
Feeding
Appropriately sized rodents every 7–14 days for most adults. Do not handle for a day after a meal. Skip a meal rather than power-feed.
